Parks & Gardens Labourer

The Role:

• General garden maintenance, mulching and trimming of native flora & weeds
• Working within a Local Council and Shires responsible for maintaining parks and natural reserve areas
• Reticulation installation & maintenance
• Turf maintenance
• Weed spraying and safely handling chemical/pesticides
• Use of ride on mowers and small plant equipment such as
• Brush cutters
• Chainsaws
• Whipper snippers
• Blowers
• Hedgers & Edgers
• Working efficiently whilst keeping a focus on your health and safety

Criteria:

• White card
• Minimum 6 month’s experience within a landscaping role
• Valid driver’s licence (HR desirable)
• Current National Police Clearance
• Chainsaw Ticket
• Pesticide/Spray Licence
• Experience in the use of Ride on Mowers (desirable)
• Certificate II or III in Horticulture (Highly desirable)
